To borrow a WWE term, the 2021 Eastern Conference finals has turned into a Last Man Standing match.
The Bucks and Hawks are dealing with potentially series-changing injuries to their top players. Trae Young missed the entirety of Game 4, as he was recovering from a bone bruise in his right foot. Then Giannis Antetokounmpo went down with a scary left knee injury after contesting a Clint Capela dunk in the second half of that contest.

Here are the latest updates on Antetokounmpo and Young ahead of Thursday’s Game 5.
Will Giannis Antetokounmpo play vs. Hawks?
Antetokounmpo has not yet been given an official designation for Game 5. The Bucks announced during Game 4 that he had suffered a hyperextension of his left knee, but Milwaukee coach Mike Budenholzer didn’t offer any additional details during Tuesday’s postgame news conference.

ESPN’s Malika Andrews reported that Antetokounmpo is expected to undergo imaging on his knee at some point Wednesday.
Through 14 postseason games, Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.2 points, 13.0 rebounds and 5.4 assists while shooting 54.6 percent from the field.
Will Trae Young play vs. Bucks?
Young also doesn’t have an official designation for Game 5, but Hawks coach Nate McMillan told reporters that he is going to be a “game-time decision.”

Veteran guard Lou Williams replaced Young in Atlanta’s starting lineup for Game 4, totaling 21 points, eight assists and five rebounds in 35 minutes. If Young is ruled out for Game 5, Williams will once again be expected to play a key role in the Hawks’ offense.
Through 15 postseason games, Young is averaging 29.8 points and 9.5 assists.
